Rob Scoble was only trying to get names, birthdays and email addresses out of Facebook when they decided to remove his access from the site.
Facebook are now not only preventing people trying to get this data off of Facebook, they are aggressively blocking such attempts.
Very, very, very bad.
I think facebook is doing pretty nice job. Due to increasing number of social networking sites like Orkut ,Myspace the crime seems getting grown .Especially in India due to orkut revealing personnel identities the Crime is into extent….So if facebook is doing such job then its really a good step….
FacebookSync is the app to use! Simply amazing - the developer was also shutdown but previous versions still work!
I feel it is a good step taken by Facebook to prevent people trying to use demographic data contained in facebook for various purposes including spamming.
