While I was browsing though Last.fm, I stumbled upon this interesting little image…
It’s quite interesting. There has been talk of Facebook starting off some sort of musical tool. I always thought it would be a little like Last.fm… so it would make sense for them to just integrate Last.fm. How exactly their service is going to work remains a mystery, though.
From what I hear facebook are adding support for third party widgets soon and you’ll be able to integrate your last.fm charts, quilts, radio player etc with your facebook profile. It remains to be seen if this leads to facebook profiles looking like myspace pages…
I hope they dont start looking like myspace pages, the thing I like about facebook is the lack of tacky profile customization, which myspace has an abundance of. Still looking forwards to intregrating my last.fm into facebook.
