The first single from Overtones, “Writers Block” is a killer of a track. The North London DJ shows that he can create disco-pop of the highest order, provide a sublimely cool lyric behind it and make us believe in the healing power of the dance floor [WTF? - Ed.]. The full-length album makes good and delivers more, with “Stars in their Eyez” going for a raw disco sound [About right - Ed.] and “Glory Days” showing him as an accomplished MC.

Quite frankly, his music is the biggest load of old shit I’ve heard in a long time.
Just think about how young you are and how much more shit you’ll have to sit through in your life. Honestly. in ten years’ time, Just Jack will, comparatively, be like musical honey to your ears.
