Work on Surveyar begins today

This afternoon I’m going to start on [tag]Surveyar[/tag], and there are two sweet things I’ll be doing.

• Outlining the stages of the [tag]project[/tag]
  Briefly I need to know what part to [tag]work[/tag] on, and when. Nothing [tag]detailed[/tag], but the time when I’ll have to work on the [tag]accounting[/tag] [tag]system[/tag], or the [tag]data[/tag] [tag]processing[/tag] [tag]system[/tag] will have to be sorted out before I dive in.
• THE [tag]DATABASE[/tag] [tag]SCHEMA[/tag]
  Ahh! possibly my [tag]favourite[/tag] part of a [tag]project[/tag] because of the [tag]drive[/tag] (and vision) it seems to give you, I’ve talked in the past about how good it is to get a DB schema down on paper (yes, [tag]paper[/tag]). I find a beautiful [tag]schema[/tag] will give you the push to make the [tag]software[/tag], and act as a better [tag]technical[/tag] [tag]specification[/tag] than anything else (for the [tag]web applications[/tag] I tend make, that is). This [tag]schema[/tag] is going to be about three times bigger than anything I’ve ever done in the past. Hopefully I can keep [tag]size[/tag] down.

Other than that I have to write a [tag]letter[/tag] to the [tag]bank[/tag] and go and get my (long but still stylish) hair cut.
