In precisely 30 days I will be free from the shackles of further education, having completed my A-levels.
I’ve got a long summer of relaxation planned out, but I’m not just going to become an economic write-off for three months. Oh no.
Over the last few months I’ve been doing some research and have decided to go into business properly. What am I going to be doing?
Introducing
Surveyar
Surveyar is going to be a web-based surveyor. It’ll have some predictable twists (AJAX, ease of use) and some not-so-predictable twists which should make the launch very sweet indeed. It’s going to be so easy to use, and pretty useful, too.
I’m really looking forward to getting to work on this. There’s an awful lot of competition out there for this sort of thing (which tells me there’s a good deal of money out there buying this sort of thing), so it’s going to be a real toughie to deal with… but costs are minimal and it’s more of a learning thing for me than an all-out business move.
I’m going to be taking some of the ideas I’ve played about with on My Buster Tests and some of the lessons I’ve learnt while making it, hopefully making a really cool overall product.
I can’t wait to show off the things I have planned for this, so I’m really looking forward to making it a reality.
That logo isn’t final by any means, by the way. I’ve had trouble coming up with something decent for this in the little time I’ve had, and just wanted to get it off of the ground and going.
It just occurred to me how entertaining this will sound when said by Americans.
Looks really swish. The name is great, nice one getting that domain.
Keep us posted!
Great idea, i’d like to help in beta tester and that if you like. I’m phil, pleased to meet you. I’m 33 based in the uk, burton on trent (in roswell on vacation right now) and run two small companies. one a gsp (game server host) and the other a small web outfit. Our coding is pretty old school (tables - yuk) but we are doing our best to get back into css, xhtml and eventually ajax.
We are not big money men or business men in suits. Like ya idea if you wanna bounce ideas about or need someone to chat to about it for user experience or indeed a logo design just holla.
Cheers.
Phil.
Ditto that - looks like it could be a fun project, and truly useful if implemented well. I’m looking forward to seeing it in the future, and would be happy to be a tester as and when.
Thanks guy’s, I’ll be sure to keep you notified.
