Well it wasn’t long till this happened. IE just can’t handle all those form elements moving about, so it fudges up the form when the answer boxes collapse away.
It actually fudged up more than that, but I’ve been able to fix it buy either changing the effect or working around it a bit.
It looks like I will need to split the New Test page down the middle if I want to keep the nice answer box working properly. 
Ahh well… it’s doing it’s job for now and I’ll come back to it once the rest of the application is working. Of course, IE users are 90% of my site’s visitors (many using it from school where IE is the only one available), so it must work in IE.
