WordPress update worries

Being a complete update whore it won’t take me too long to overcome the worrying feeling I have about updating WordPress to the new 2.0 version.

For some reason, I am really uncomfortable when it comes to updating online software. The thing is, it’s a lot more hands-on than just downloading the new version, and certainly more hands-on than the lovely Windows Update or Software Update features.

For some reason, that worries me. My particular worries centre around the template not working. I really couldn’t deal with a template problem right now, because they’re entirely horrible things to work on.

Ah well. A complete back-up and then upgrade it is. It’s not only Dech I have to do this for, but Buster Studies as well.

(Oh, and I really don’t think ‘Duke’ is a good name for anything, especially not software.)
