Channel 4 News with John Snow have gone ahead and embraced podcasting to produce a new show which, by the look of it, will provide extra detail into news stories covered in the main Channel 4 News.
It’s a refreshing move that they’re making. First More 4 News, which builds upon the Channel 4 programme and includes more opinion, and now even more depth, as opposed to providing the same depth of coverage in more places.
Their very first podcast is all about cannabis. It seems it might make you a bit mental. Unfortunately I don’t know much about that, because someone phoned me up during the programme.

Update Well that was a pretty good show. Great reporting as you would expect, and very much an easygoing pace. Good to work to. Thumbs up.
I saw the BBC piece and it seems it pot can cause mental health problems. No real news there.
I will listen to the ‘cast later but noted this:
“Alternatively, you can download the programmes to your MP3 player and listen on the move”.
This is great for those of us who don’t have fancy readers. However to download the mp3 we have to troll through the xml file to find the link. A one click link to the mp3 would be nice. I will comment on the site after i listen.
