I’ve just sat down to enjoy Kung-Foo Hustle (which sounds brilliant, I must say), only to be bombarded with all-too familiar adverts against movie piracy.
But hang on… where am I seeing this?
On a DVD, rented legally from Blockbuster.
Right. So, they’re advertising against piracy to people who have gone out of their way to rent out a movie (and I mean, out of our way as in Blockbuster is miles from where I live).
I can’t help but feel that these ads are very much misplaced. Surely there must be a better place for them?

I saw a similar ad when I went to the movies a couple weeks ago. Didn’t make much sense there either, since we paid for tickets to see it in the theater.
